Age Limit
The minimum age is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. However there is different age relaxation for different reserved communities and categories of candidates.
What are the educational qualifications needed for the examination?
A degree in any discipline from a recognised university will do the purpose.
What is the nature of the test?
The test will be a mix of objective and descriptive papers.
What are the papers in which I have to appear?
There are five objective papers viz Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Computer Knowledege. The descriptive paper comprises of english composition, essay, precis writing, letter writing etc.
What is the maximum mark?
There is a maximum mark of 250.
How much time I will get for writing the exam?
You will get 210 minutes for the entire exam.
Is there a penalty for the wrong answers?
Yes. 0.25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
How to apply for the written examination?
You have to remit the required fees and then apply online through official website of IBPS at www.ibps.in
