Border Security Force has invited applications for the 383 vacant posts of SI and constable in various cadres of technicians.
Qualifications: For SI in Vehicle mechanic, a three year diploma in automobile engineering, mechanical engineering or auto electric engineering is needed.
For SI in Auto electrician, the same qualification is needed.
For SI in store keeper also the same qualification is needed.
For constable in vehicle mechanic, tenth standard pass is needed. ITI certificate in the specific trade and three years experience is needed.
There is posts of constables in welder, fitter, auto electrician, turner, operator tyre repair plant, blacksmith tinsmith, store keeper, painter, upholster categories which require the above qualifications.
Physical qualifications: 165 cm height, chest size 75 cm and with expansion 80 cm. Weight corresponding to the height needed.

Selection Procedure: There will be physical test, written test, aptitude test, and medical test and interview.
Age Limit: 20-25 for SI and 18-25 for constable.
